After WWII, the Japanese political culture became more humanitarian. Prior to that it was considered hostile.

Japanese economy is not very abundant in resources. After the WW II further devastation occurred which led its culture to be based more on quality, efficiency and savings.

It was the only Asian country to achieve industrialization following WW II. Now it is the forerunner in technology in the world. Japan spawned industries like like micro technology, robotics and modern management.
