Explanation & Answer
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question! I will try to help out the best I can!
It seems that you may have a problem with the alternator? I've had this issue on my vehicle before as well where I'm driving along and the car just slows down and dies. Sometimes you can tell if the alternator is going when the lights are dimming, or if they have been flickering. Another way to tell is to check the voltage on the car battery. You can do this yourself, or, most auto shops will do it (usually free of charge). Voltage should be 14 or higher (if it's below, it suggests that your alternator is going and that needs immediate attention).
It could also be something related to the fuel pump/ fuel pressure gauge, but in that regard, I have little experience. I hope it works out for you!
