In the conventional setting, when one thinks of theology, the idea that comes to mind is a
boring scholarly conversation which has no importance in the daily life of an individual. In fact,
some people might go further and question the need for examining the role of theology in the life
of the average human being. In getting the conclusive answer to such a discussion, it can first
start by giving the definition of the word. By definition, theology is the study of the character
and the purpose that God has for the human race which revealed to us through his son Jesus
Christ. The bible says in the book of 1st Colossians: 15-19 that Jesus was the sign of the invisible
God and that God was pleased and satisfied to have his fullness through him (Crossway Bible,
