1. line x +2y = 6 can be written as y = 1/2 x+3 hence slope of parallel line = 1/2 =0.5
y = 0.5x+c ; line is passing through (1,9) hence 9 =0.5*1+c ; solving we get c = 8.5
hence the equation become y = 0.5x8.5 ; or x+2y+17=0

2. line x = 5 is a line parallel to y axis hence slope of parallel line = infinity or (1/0)
y = (1/0) x+c ; line is passing through (2,4) hence 4 =(1/0) * 2+c ; solving we get c = 2
hence the equation become x = 2 ; or x = 2*****
3. slope of parallel line = (51)/(51) = 1
y = (1) x+c ; line is passing through (1,2) hence 2 =(1) * 1+c ; solving we get c = 1
hence the equation become y=x1 ; or xy = 1
