Often people have ideas or complaints about "the government," but it's not as simple as a unitary government in the U.S. In fact, counting the federal government, the state governments, territorial governments, counties, townships, cities, towns, school districts, water districts, port authorities, park districts, library districts, and many others, the U.S. has over 80,000 separate governments!

In the amendment process methods, the first scenario is one where the two-thirds of the members
of the state legislature request the congress to call a national convention to propose the relevant
changes. The amendment is therefore subjected to voting where it has to acquire at least threefourths of all the state legislation. The state constitution can also be changed by some informal
methods like the adjustment that come as a result of courts orders. These initiatives have
implications on the state politics because whenever there is an amendment the legislatures
normally have different stands.
