Is a receiver and/or transmitter address hard-coded in the hardware and cannot be changed. Can it always be counted to correctly identify the device transmitting

The receiver and transmitter address  in the hardware is hard corded to enable its functionality.

Though not efficient and effective enough, it can still be counted to corectly identify device transmitting
