where a1 is the first term of the sequence, d is the common difference, n is the number of the term to find.

....please wait for a short while I am working on the question..please

to find any term of an arithmetic sequence;

an = a1 + (n-1)d

where a1 is the first term of the sequence, d is the common difference, n is the number of the term to find.

therefore, we shall take the difference to be 5 and because the sequence is a decreasing one, the formula will be

an = a1 - (n+1)d

t30= 32 - ( 5+1)5 because t30 will be our 5th term

     =32-30

      =2
