Philosophy of Exceptional Learning and Inclusion
The intended career path
In most cases, the degree plans will pave the path for my career. As an educator, I will
give instruction on styles of learning, methods of instruction, and assessment evaluations
(Hutchinson). My personal philosophy of education started off with an initial concept which has
now evolved due to age, intellectual growth, technology, and experience. This paper is a
summation of my expanded personal philosophy of learning and inclusion.
Educators need to realize and understand the potential power they hold. What an
instructor says and how it is said will have an impact on the student either positive or negative.
An educator should always strive to be encouraging and emotionally uplifting to all students
(Salend). Unfortunately there are many cases where the educator allowed a negative, hurtful or
discouraging impact on the student. This can be damaging, both in the classroom and later in
the real world.
