How does political philosophy discover a good regime?
Introduction
Political philosophy is a branch of philosophy that deals with arguments and the concepts that are
used while one is giving out a political opinion. In most cases, politics is said to deal with all of the
individuals, concepts, regulations, institutions, and practices that are associated with any government. The
main issue affecting the political philosophy is its ability to maintain a controlled and unbiased
relationship between the quality of human life and the power of the public around humans. It should
ensure that public power is limited or deployed. The limitation to which the public power is subjected is
necessary to the well-being of the members of the public. The limited power makes the members of the
society have an enhanced means of survival while maintaining and improving the standards of people's
lives. The political philosophy is also subject to the factors that affect aspects of human experience
(BOOK ELEVEN n.d.). It is affected by the reasoning limitations of a human mind. It is also affected by
the environment that surrounds its practice, interpretation and implementation. It is also determined by the
views of the great philosophers in the political field and all of the other successive politically known
figures in history.
The description and the scope of political philosophy are different from the study of the
administrative organization and political organization. The philosophy of political actions and concepts is
more focused on the normative and theoretical parts than the descriptive part of politics. It has many
relationships with the concepts of the general society. Therefore, political philosophy can be described as
one of the most necessary aspects of a society because it is used to create sense before a person makes a
judgment. It is also used in the creation of purposes that drive the application of political powers.
Therefore, this work is geared toward finding the role that is played by the political philosophy to aid the
process of achieving good systems of leadership. It also creates an analysis of the achievements of the
political greats in the field of political philosophy.
The Republic of Plato was the first work of political philosophy that was elaborately witnessed in
Europe. It was perceived as a great achievement that influenced the feelings of its residents as well as
