1. What data would you gather about your organization (or large department or division) to
accurately evaluate its organizational climate?
To evaluate the organization’s climate appropriately, I would prefer to collect the
following data: Various needs and attitudes of the different organizational members, attitudes
towards the systems used in the operational processes of the organization, employee attitudes
towards the decision-making processes of the high-level management, the level of commitment
of the employees in various levels, opinions towards the organizations competitors, availability
and efficiency of the relevant skills required in particular departments, employees’ opinions on
the availability and efficiency of the tools and machineries used within the department or
organization, employees’ opinions of disciplinary measures being used, employees’ opinions on
appraisal and promotional methods used and the employees’ opinions about their welfare in the
organization or particular division (Jex & Brit, 2014). If the above data is collected, it would...
