Small groups are normally made of very few people. It can be a group of three people or
even more who have something common, for instance, they have a common identity and purpose.
The minimum number of people in a small group is three but they can be more than that depending
on the purpose of the group. Different groups normally serve different purposes and they have
different characteristics.

The main formats of a small group include; a panel, a symposium, a, and a symposium
forum. They are mostly oral forums which are normally very participative and they make sure that
everyone is able to get the information that is been shared. In most cases, the input of everyone is
normally needed. In a roundtable set up, the members normally arrange themselves in a circular
pattern and the meeting is normally informal and people are able to share their idea. It is
