Resting heart rate is the number of times your heart beats per minute while at rest.It is done by taking your pulse on the inside of your wrist on the thumbs side.Use the tip of your first two fingers not the thumb ,press lightly over the vessel.
Count your pulse for 10 seconds then multiply by 6 to find per minute.
