Description

six journals each for 1 page of different topics.

Begin with a brief summary. BRIEF. Then, continue with lens analysis: using one of the lenses (or approaches) you are exposed to, analyze the text. For example, perhaps you read Batman: The Dark Knight and decide to use the psychological lens to analyze the work. You select a psychological theory (Erikson's stages of psychosocial development, for example) and you would determine which stage each of the characters seems to be at. (Interestingly enough, even though characters are three dimensional, they are often caught up in one of the conflicts Erikson discusses in his stages of psychosocial development. Batman, for example, might be caught up in stage 1: trust vs. mistrust. He's not an infant, but he still seems to be caught up in that conflict, as well as several others.

Here's a nifty site where you can read free digital comics.

2 guns comic Book summary
2 guns is a story about police officers, thieves as well as men that are something in
between. This story captures the violence associated with crime life and how badly those
involved in criminal acts end up hurting those close to them as well as themselves.
The two main characters in the story are Trench and Steadman. In the story, Trench who
is a DEA agent targets a local bank to rob. He asks Steadman in on the job while thinking that he
is a criminal. For Trench, this is a great way to score simply because this is a cover for robbing
the mob their cash. For this reason, they will be thieves stealing from other thieves.
However, the biggest surprise in the story is that both characters have got their own
secrets that they don't either one of them to now. For Trench, he is a DEA agent while Steadman
is not who he appears to be. This sets out to be a very interesting story of the two characters who
end up robbing the bank but subsequent events result in them knowing each other's secrets.
However, in the end, they work together to get out of the mess they had created (Grant, &
Santolouco, 2013).
Lens analysis
To begin with, Trench who is a DEA agent is shown to have reached the fifth stage of
Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs. This stage is referred to the self-actualization of needs. This is
attributed to the fact that Trench is seeking personal growth, the peak experience as well as selffulfillment when he decides to rob a bank that criminals use to save their cash. His desire is to
become everything he is capable of becoming having worked as a DEA agent for a long period
of time.
Secondly, in the story, Steadman is shown to be at stage four of Maslow's Hierarchy of
needs. In this stage, one seeks esteem needs (Mcleod, 2018). Steadman is seeking out esteem for
