Definition
According to Noe et al (2006, p 165) strategic performance management is critical as it
helps the manager and other leaders in ensuring that all the organizational goals are met. In other
words, Kloot and Martin (2000, p 240) proposes that strategic performance management refers to
the strategies as well as plans that are put into place by the organization committee that leads a
premise in an attempt of ensuring that all the organizational goals are well met. The main ideas
of these strategies as per (Curtright, Stolp-Smith and Edell, 2000, p 56) is to ensure that all the
plans as well as strategies of the organization committee are well met and they are
communicated to the other staffs with an attempt of ensuring that they are all met.
According to (Kaplan, R.S., 2001, p 361) the strategic performance management system
ensures that there is a link between the employees’ performance, the organizational performance
as well as the compensation system. In other words, Marr and Gray (2012, p 123) maintains that
the strategies ensure that all the systems in the premises are working together in an attempt of
meeting the organization goals. It is therefore critical as per Atkinson, Waterhouse and Wells
(2005, p 25) for the organizational leaders to ensnare that all the goals as well as the main aims
of the premises are communicated to all the staffs from time to time. The aspect as per De Waal
(2013, p 32) ensures that all the departments as well as all systems ibn the organization are
working towards achieving the main goal of tea organization.
