Should It Be Legalized?
Marijuana, or so-called herb, hemp, bhang, pot, grass or weed, is a drug in
Cannabinaceae family scientifically known as Cannabis sativa. It contains the chemical
compound delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) which gives its characteristic psychoactive
effects. Its use in the USA spreads like world fire, though to many its under the dark and in the

past years marijuana using increasing, possession or use of all forms of the drug is illegal in

legalizing it for medical use, the federal government still classifies marijuana as a Schedule 1
drug with no medical use. It was also made illegal for industrial use without a permit under the

Croatia Denmark Italy among others have decriminalized the drug though still illegal. Other
nations like Egypt, India, Netherlands, Germany, Iran, Australia authorities will just turn blind to
marijuana possession. Recreational use of marijuana is legal in America Ten states including
