Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

political party differs from an interest group in the purpose they serve.

a political party aims at a political office, hence exists to gain power by winning elections.their opinions, though of wide coverage, are bound to change. political parties offer the advantage of flexibility for the members while interest parties don't.

an interest group aims to push its beliefs and points of view over certain issues and do not necessarily aim for office. their views are meant to withstand the test of time. interest groups offer citizens an alternative voice, especially minority groups of people.

a political party is an organization of people with the same views in order to get control of government by winning elections. their functions include providing a nation with leadership and also, for those in opposition, ensure that the leading party is kept in check

in order for something to count as public opinion, it must have 4 elements

1)an issue for instance mode of dressing.

2)a substantial amount of people with views on the issue e.g others think short dresses are sinful while others think its cool to dress as one pleases.

3)some degree of consensus concerning at least some of the views .as in some people believe in the later and the former above.

4)the consensus must somehow exert influence; e.g, the view that women should wear long dresses exerts influence if Muslim nations.

all the factors that influence public opinion are as important as the other and they are both related as each leads to the other.

A subculture is a group of individuals who have values that separate them from the main culture, but still follow some of the values of the parent culture. a minority subculture is one that isn't so popular or is sidelined. in the larger political arena, subcultures could influence the pattern of leadership because they are usually united with one voice, and they sway in a particular direction.each subculture is unique in itself and its not likely that they would have similar roles in different regions.
