Introduction
The world is moving towards a digital age and most of the organizations are turning
digital. This specific advancement process of being digital is leaving a huge impact on the
overall organizational structures across the globe. By having an organizational structure which is
directly Technology oriented, overall efficiency, as well as productivity of the specific
organizations, is also increased. If a company is not technologically advanced it will definitely
go out of the race as it couldn't be able to match the pace of the specific industry. From supply
chain management managing the internal human resources of the organization requires
technological advancement and its benefits as it's really hard to keep track of increasing
population as well as an employee inside an organization. With the help of the electronically
managed system, one can easily increase the overall level of compatibility towards the specific
organization With the help of the technological advancement a company can easily compete
with the help of different resources like Internet and other technological terms. By implementing
automation as well as different robotic techniques which are literally technically very advanced
can benefit a company or an organization by a huge margin as it provides an edge over the
human resources.
Need of digitization of analog signal:
•
Digital signal processing: Any digital processor like a computer needs digital input to
data processing or store. If some number changes, then many things can be done with it.
Calculation, skill, transmission etc. Only possible if analog signals are digitized.
•
Digital Instruments: Digital instruments only listen to digital signals for example Radars,
digital cameras they require digitization of analog signals1.
•
Music Recording: digitization of analog signal is an integral part of the music industry.
•
Rotary Encoder: It is an electromagnetic device that converts angular momentum of the
shaft into digital signals.
In the first phase, The data is a sample on the regular time period. Sampling is the process of
recording the signal samples at different points in time or place. Waveforms are in the sample in
time. Images are sampled in space. The video is sampled in both time and place.
In the second phase, each sample is quantified. Quantization is representing the sample points of
the dimension by a limited set of levels, which means converting the constant-dimension sample
into a separate-time signal. Analog signal thus changed to digital.

Digital Baseband Data Generation and Transmission
The digital signal is a signal that represents a sequence of discrete values. A logical signal is the
type of digital signal which has only two values that are the binary format, in other words, it is
also called a binary signal2.
A. Encoded Message:
ASCII
∪ = 85 = 01010101 = 55𝐻
Add parity = 1 (∴ 𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑛𝑜. 𝑜𝑏 𝐼 𝑖𝑛 𝑏𝑦𝑡𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛)
𝑁 = 78 = 01001110 = 4𝐸𝑁
Odd Parity: "1"
𝑇 = 84 = 01010100 = 54𝐻
Odd Parity "0"(∴ 𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑛𝑜. 𝑜𝑏 𝐼 𝑖𝑛 𝑏𝑦𝑡𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑑𝑑)
blank = 0 = 00000000 = 00𝐻, 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦 = 1
𝑎 = 71 = 01000111 = 47𝐻, 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦 = 1
𝑟 = 114 = 01110010 = 72𝐻, 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦 = 1
𝑒 = 101 = 01100101 = 65𝐻, 𝑂𝑑𝑑 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦 = 1
𝑛 = 110 = 01101110 = 6𝐸𝐻, 𝑜𝑑𝑑 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦 = 0
→ In odd parity, if no. ob 1 S in byte is odd parity is "0" if it is even parity is "1".
B. Number of bits
In the above message, there were 8-bits. In which, the Total number of bits transmitted = Each
hop will require 3 full message transmissions. For 1 hop, 10 kbits* 1 = 10 kbits will be
transmitted.
