Reverse transcriptase inhibitors can slow down the replication of DNA by just blocking
the transcriptase's enzymatic reverse functions and preventing the double-stranded DNA synthesis
to completion hence there is no DNA multiplication. This is made possible by the reverse
transcriptase inhibitor by coping single-stranded RNA genome into an original double-stranded
DNA (Bhagavan &. C.-E., 2015). For example, when a cell is infected by HIV, Reverse
transcriptase copies the viral single-stranded RNA genome mentioned above into a doublestranded DNA. After the coping process is complete, then the viral DNA is then integrated into
the host original chromosomal DNA which then allows cellular processes of transcription and
