directed to members of the public. This idea about the Congress curtailing advertisements is not
new. In 1962, for instance, the Congress granted FDA rights and responsibility to control ads
about medication (Ventola, 2011). Ever since FDA has been regulating the advertisements of
drugs to ensure whatever is put out there does not have a negative impact on consumers.
The Congress through the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has the rights to regulate
