Question 1. The function of the three systems and associated organs
Immune system
The chief function of the immune system is to ascertain that infectious organisms such as
fungi, bacteria as well as viruses are kept out of the body (Sompayrac, 2015). While at the same
time it strives to ensure that there is the destruction of any potential infectious organism. The
appropriate organs associated with the immune system consists of a relatively essential alongside
a complex network of organs, the relevant example is the spleen.
Gastrointestinal system
The ideal functions of the system comprise of absorption, digestion along with
transportation of food within the body. Different organs conform to this system. The perfect
example is the stomach (Allen-Vercoe & Petrof, 2014).
Renal/ Urinary system
The urinary system within its regard empowers the body to get rid of unneeded wastes or
rather waste products from the blood and body in general. Such may be subject to excretion
