A racing car travels on a circular track of

radius 208 m. The car moves with a constant
linear speed of 26.3m/s.
A) Find its angular speed. Answer in units of rad/s. (0.126 rad/s is the answer)

B) Find the magnitude of its acceleration. Answer in units of m/s^2

we know, v = w*r ,

where v= linear velocity

w= angular velocity

and r= radius

thus, w= v/r

    w=26.3 / 208   = 0.1264 rad/s


now, acceleration a= v^2 / r

                            a= (26.3) ^2 /208

                            a= 3.325 m/ s^2
