A racing car travels on a circular track of

radius 208 m. The car moves with a constant
linear speed of 26.3m/s.
A) Find its angular speed. Answer in units of rad/s. (0.126 rad/s is the answer)

I need help finding B

B) Find the magnitude of its acceleration. Answer in units of m/s^2

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

A) C = 2π208=1307.072

now we can set up a ratio of the velocity to the distance and compare that to a unit circle

26.3/ 1307.072 = ω / 2π

cross multiply to find ω = 26.3(2π) / 1307.072

0.1264 rad/s ===> ANS

B)V²/R toward the center of the circle =26.3*26.3/208=3.3254m/s2

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
