B) Calculate the speed of the ball. Answer in units of m/s.

given  r = 0.7m

The period of a revolution is given by T= 1/ f

here frequency f = 7.9 rev per sec

so T= 0.126 s

 now we know T = 2 pi / w

where pi =3.14 and w= angular speed

so w= 2 pi / T

   w = 49.84 rad/s

 

now velocity v= w* r

so v= 49.84 * 0.7

34. 88 m/s
