In the field of guidance and counseling, psychologists have today designed a number of
essential therapeutic methods targeting specific diseases. One such example is cognitive
behavioral therapy (CBT), a technique that ideally focuses on understanding and resolving the
link between behaviors, feelings, and thoughts (Haaga & Davison, 1993). Post-traumatic stress
disorder (PTSD) is one example of a stressful mental disease that can be effectively resolved
using the CBT technique. This paper mainly evaluates three post-trauma cognitive-behavioral
interventions that can improve the behavior patterns, emotions, and thoughts of school children
suffering from PTSD.
There are several trauma-focused cognitive behavioral interventions that can be used to
treat school children suffering from PTSD, especially those exhibiting anxiety and co-morbid
depression due to self-immolation, bullying, and many other emotional stressors. The first
