Peer 1 Post Who am I? My name is Nykeisha Hope I'm from Rock Hill, South Carolina and completed my undergraduate at Benedict College where I majored in Business Management. My marketing experience began my freshman year of undergraduate where I took up my first marketing course. Going into the course I didn't know much about marketing. I went in thinking the word only only meant promoting but it's more than that. I completed the course having more knowledge than what I had about marketing. Since then, I view marketing as being a vital component of business. Marketing have many aspects into growing or improving a foundation. How this class will improve me? This class will improve me by expanding my horizon in business overall. Giving me different ways of how to utilize marketing. That's why I feel like a M.B.A. in my opinion is the best matter degree out of any because it's pretty flexible. One thing I'm looking to take out this course is a skill I can have with me everyday when I see, hear or use the term marketing. Favorite Company that has the 4 P's Place: Wal Mart has location in every state in the United States and even in different countries Product: Wal Mart focus on product quality since they have low prices in order to keep their customer base. Promotion: Wal-Mart focus favorite line is Save Money, Live Better" Price: Wal-Mart business model is base off low prices And Yes, Wal Mart use Marketing Mix Four P's style to attract their customers Peer 2 Post Hello Everyone! My name is Sona Wegner, I am a benchmark architect for dental practices. I help dentists continuously improve their practice profitability and keep more of what they earn using benchmarks with an online application I built that integrates with their bookkeeping data. For those who may not understand what benchmarking means - it is to compare a set of data against industry standards, which is help point out opportunities for improvements. Marking hasn't been a big part of my company because we've grown organically by being awesome :). This class will get me out of my box and thinking more about ways I could grow and improve my brand by better understanding the bigger picture. This is going to sound weird, but my favorite company is a payroll service called GUSTO. I'm an accountant that deals with payroll issues often amongst clients. I found Gusto a couple years ago, and I am in love with everything they do and the software they have built. They even sent me an employee only t-Shirt because I'm their biggest fan. :) Product: They made an online payroll software that makes running payroll stupid-proof and delightful. Place: Online, and you'll find them on many social media channels Promotion: They work closely with partners, such as accountants who manage payroll for their clients. Each partner gets VIP treatment, questions answered quickly, etc. While using the payroll software online, Gusto is consistent with the happy, and fun experience you get from it so a big part of their promotion is through their customer service experience. They also send emails out with little dancing pigs and jokes connected to payroll runs that make everyone love running payroll. It's the little things... Price: They are the most competitive in pricing out of all significant payroll services for small to medium size businesses. Peer Post 3 Hello Everyone, I am Anna and I am currently a Vocational Case Manager for a nonprofit social service agency in New Jersey that services individuals with disabilities. Even though I received my BA back in 2012 from Strayer University in Business Administration with a concentration in Management I continue to work in the social work industry. I am excited to be starting my third class within my MBA Journey in the JWMI program. My goal is to one day expand and change gears within my career path opportunities by one day fulfilling my dream of being apart of a fast growing industry like healthcare. I know that the healthcare field can be challenging yet rewarding in itself.I also feel that in the healthcare industry there is endless room for growth. During my free time I love spending time with my children, family, listening to good music and dancing. I am also a fan of Apple products but since that example has been recently used I will speak on another company. I was just having a discussion with one of my family members last week about Chick Fil A and its great customer service. I like Chick Fil A but I cannot say it is my favorite but it is more less my children's favorite fast food restaurants to dine at. They are always polite "(My Pleasure)" and they always give away free stuff and who doesn't like free things. There are a few occasions I was offered a free meal if I waited too long, or whether I happened to be the next person in line that received a entire platter full of their nuggets, or extra cookies if they did not have anymore of the particular cookie I originally ordered. Product - Is always fresh to order, has parent friendly menus, environmental awareness, which includes its ethical and moral religious stance. Price - It is more pricer then some of the other fast food chains but you pay more for good customer service, the quality and food handling. Promotion - It doesn't do much TV advertising but they do their advertising through its known brand and social media. On nice sunny days you will see the Cow out waving and greeting patrons, their vehicle apparence, appeal to children, being involved in it the community through donating and giving back through involvement with school fundraising etc. Place - They are starting to be located all over through more franchising which equals convenience. People take your order inside the facility and if it gets busy two extra people stand outside to move the cars along in drive through which also can appeal to its customer base.
