Description

Given the following theorist, describe their explanation of physical, cognitive, language, emotional and social development. In addition to the provided list add three predominant child development theorist and give their information too. This is done on a spread sheet I have uploaded. The given theorist are Jean Piaget, Albert Bandura, Sigmund Freud, Erik Erikson, Lev Vygotsky, Urie Brofenbrenner. The additional Theorist could include Maria Montessori, B.F. Skinner, and Arnold Gesell. Not all theorist have an explanation for each of the development areas. The worksheet is all that is required, no paper. Research is from scholarly sources. No citations required. It will be ran through a plagiarism program.

Jean Piaget

According to

children to

determined by
their age.
According to

According to

Moral
development
According to
Piaget, moral
development
refers to the
ability to
understand
what is right
and wrong and
the willingness
to act on this
distinction.
Children in the
pre-moral stage
are between 0
and 5 years.
These children
have no
understanding
of rules, and
they hardly
carry out

this case,

this point, the
physical
experiences of
the child have
accumulated,
and they can
create logical
structures that
explain the
physical
experiences.
Moreover,
children at this
phase of
development
can handle
abstract
problemsolving. The
last stage in the
child’s physical

the ages of 11
