Chromosome can be thought as long and packed, stringy aggregate of genes containing codes for specific protein production. A chromosome is basically single-stranded containing centromere region which is helpful as it connects two regions of arms i.e. p and q arms. Telomere is known as end region of chromosome consisting of non-coding DNA sequences that are repeating and gets shorter in length in cell division process.
Chromosomes can be thought as essential entity for reproduction and growth of a cell. They are located within nucleus of cells and contains all essential information required for genetic information transfer during process of reproduction.
