City have come up with proposals for the major health insurance initiatives. The new proposed
policy would require the individuals within the states to purchase insurance policies or pay the
penalty. The governors expand the Affordable Care Act and allow undocumented young adults at
the age of 26 to be covered by Medicaid. The healthcare public policy development process
begins with the identification of the problem, where the issue is clarified, framed regarding its
impact on the health of the population. Secondly, during the policy analysis, the proposed policy
is analyzed using the relevant qualitative and quantitative methods in order to determine the
feasibility of the proposed plan. The third step involves coming up with a policy development
