Calculate the momentum for
a) a 0.2 kg rifle bullet traveling 100 m/s.
Answer in units of kg ·m/s.

b) a 1200 kg automobile traveling 0.1 m/s
(a few miles per hour).
Answer in units of kg ·m/s.

a) momentum is denoted by p

So p= m*v

0.2 *100 = 20kg. m/s


b) p= m*v

1200* 0.1 = 120 kg. m/s
