If the diameter of your circular flower bed is 19 feet, and landscaping border bricks are 8 inches long each, calculate the following:

A: the circumference of the flower bed

B: the number of bricks needed to make the border

C: the amount of bark you need in order to cover the flower bed

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

A- Circumference is equal to diameter times pi. 19 times 3.14 is 59.66 or 19pi

B- You will need 3 bricks 19/8 equals 2.375, rounded up since you can't have .375 of a brick

C- If diameter is 19 then radius is half of that, so 9.5. Area of a circle is pi* r squared 9.5*9.5 is 90.25pi

Thanks!
