So parallelograms can be solved by the equation b*h

b= base, h = height.

To find the base and height we need to graph this. Once we graph it, we see that there is a base of 6. This is seen when we count the number of units inbetween the points on the X axis. So 8-2= 6 and 5-(-1) = 6. For the height we need to find the Y axis difference. We take 6- (-4) = 10

Now multiply the base (6) times the height (10) / 6*10 = Area of 60
