Changing x and y, we get x = 12-4y^3

Or, 4y^3 = 12-x

Or, y^3 =(12-x)/4 = 3-0.25x

Or, y = (3-0.25x)^(1/3)

Hence f^-1(x) = (3-0.25x)^(1/3)      Ans.
