Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
He observes that work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.
there are several methods of data collection that can be used to collect data. these methods are sub divided into qualitative and quantitative techniques. Below are some of the techniques used:
In this technique we further have face to face interview, telephone interview and computer assisted personal interview. Face to face interview is whereby the research meets the interviewee and this enable the researcher develop rapport with the potential respondent and this therefore enable the researcher gain their cooperation.
This is where the research questions are written in a paper so that the interviewee is capable to respond by either selecting a multiple choice. This technique is further sub divided into two namely paper-pencil-questionnaires and web based questionnaire. The paper-pencil questionnaires can be sent to a large number of people and saves the researcher time and money.People are more truthful while responding to the questionnaires regarding controversial issues in particular due to the fact that their responses are anonymous. web based questionnaires are new methods whereby the internet is required i e questions are posted then the respondents responds to them through the internet.
the method of technology has tremendousely changed the data collection and this has facilitated the research. Nowadays computers are used to collect data through the internet. We have computer aided techniques used to collect data.
Thank you. In case you need more clarification just respond back.
Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
Its ok dear, that was just a brief part of it because the time allocated was a bit small.
This is is where the interview responds to questions through the phone. the main advantage if telephone interview is that it is less time consuming and less expensive, and the researcher has ready access to anyone on the planet who has a telephone. The main disadvantage is that the response rate is not as high as the face-to- face interview, and also the sample may be biased to the extent that people without phones are part of the population about whom the researcher wants to draw inferences.
Computer assisted personal interview.
This is a form of data collection where by the respondent instead of completing a questionnaire, he/she brings along a laptop or hand-held computer to enter the information directly into the database. The main advantage is that this method is that it saves time involved in processing the data as well as saving the interviewer from carrying around hundreds of questionnaires to respond to. The main disadvantage of this technique is that it is expensive to set up and requires that interviewers have computer and typing skills.
ok. It must be original. I had to change your last answer a bit since it had some info from slideshare. Also I went into my easy questions and it doesn't show an option to withdrawal. Where can i find it?
1 day. I'll give you a preview but it must have references. let me know if you could
