suppose 9 % of a batch of calculators have a defect case, 18% have defect batteries, and 5% have both defects. Find the probability of getting a good one choosing one at random.

total defective cases= 9% + 18% +5 %= 32% out of hundred

probability of finding defective = 32/100= 0.32

we know total probability of any case is 1

so probability of finding good one = 1- 0.32 = 0.68
