Gas is confined in a tank at a pressure of 9 atm and a temperature of 18 ◦C. If 54 percent of the gas is withdrawn and the temperature is raised to 60◦C, what is the new pressure in the tank?
Answer in units of atm.

by using ideal gas equation 

P V= n RT

here V and R are constants.

So  P/(nT) =constant 

by putting values of both cases we get the value of p in second case

i.e 4.737 atm
