Bison Transport is a well known trucking company that provides the essential backbone to the mobile trucking industry. In our everyday lives on the highway, passing by one of these trucks is sure to be seen by many individuals. Bison transport was incorporated in 1969 by Duncan M. Jessiman. Bison had started with just 18 tractors and 32 employees and now they have more than 1400 tractors and about 2600 employees (Bison,2019). Bison provides the transportation along with the various amounts of the goods and services that we may or may not have known are carried by them, such as, but not limited to, latest technology, logistic services, warehousing , offices and facilities all throughout Canada (Bison, 2019). Compared to all the transport companies in Canada, Bison has won multiple awards in the Canadian trucking industry (Bison, 2019). Bison Transport operates six main terminal hubs in Winnipeg, Mississauga, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina and Langley, based in Canada. From British Columbia through the Maritimes and to 48 U.S. states, cross-border truckload transportation is provided.
