If a h tall person walked around the earth, how much farther would his head travel than his feet?

Assume that the Earth is a sphere.

Let radius of the Earth be r.

Distance traveled by the person's feet = Circumference of circle with radius "r" = $2\pi r$

Distance traveled by the person's head =Circumference of circle with radius of "r + h"  = $2\pi (r+h)$

Difference = $2\pi (r+h)-2\pi r=2\pi r+2\pi h-2\pi r=2\pi h$

So, the persons head would have traveled an extra distance of $2\pi h$ than his feet.
