Do the voice and tone of doctoral writing differ from the voice and tone of writing at other academic levels? Explain your view. What are some ways that voice and tone can enhance the scholarly image of your writing? Explain
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
It is true that the voice and tone of doctoral writing is completely different. Just as one graduates from one academic level to another, the way they think ,their opinions, and what other people expect from them change .in this case the change is upwards. Also at doctoral level, the audience towards which the writing is addressed to is different. So in general the way one writes has to upgrade to assume the academic level, his or her opinions and the audience his or her writings are addressed to.This change may occasionally include: tone, word choice and evidence usage. Also includes use of short sentences.
This makes your writing sound like that of a social scientist .Your writing will be clear, concise .You will be free from contradiction.
most importantly you will be in a position to command your audience with the beauty of your writing.
Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
