lets suppose we have two linear equations

11+2x-7= 4x+5 -2x when we solve it we get 2x+4 = 2x+2

2x-2x = -2

0=-2 this equation will have no solution

now we have 2x+3-x = 2x+2

x+3 = 2x+2

-x = -1

x=1 this will have only one solution

Now for infinite solutions

lets suppose we have

y= 3x+3

its value will depend on x

as x can be any thing from - infinity to + infinity so it has infinite solutions.
