Purchaser for Nordstrom's. This requires procurement of clothing, shoes, accessories, and fashion-related items.
1) Wholesalers. Contracts with wholesalers are required to fulfill inventory demands. Unique to this type of purchaser is the requirement to analyze all available options, as fashion changes and you cannot be stuck trying to move inventory no one will buy.
2) Outlets. Excess inventory that cannot be sold are usually given to outlet shops at a great discount.
