Why should one study operations management?
It is essential for an individual to study operations management because it shows clearly
how people organize themselves to make the business more productive. This is because it is
related to other functions of any company including selling. Also, we study operations
management in order to gain knowledge on how goods and services are produced in an entity.
This is important since it enables firms to create quality goods and services used by consumers.
It’s significant for one to study operations management so that they can clearly understand the
role of an operations manager. This will enable an individual to explore the various opportunities

this field of an organization is critical since it’s costly for any company. The revenue generated
by most organizations is directed towards the operations department. The production function
enables an enterprise to improve its profitability levels.
