When determining sample size we need to know

pˆ. If we have no prior information, what are two methods that can be used?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question! Hi, He observes that work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.

sample size is a very important feature in any empirical data analysis. its very important as it helps in making

inferences about a sample.

the formulas used are

ss=Z^2* (p) * (1-p)/c2

Z = Z value (confidence level)
p = percentage picking a choice, expressed as decimal
(.5 used for sample size needed)
c = confidence interval, expressed as decimal

for a finite population we will have

new ss=ss/ss-1/1+pop

pop refers to population

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
