I cannot understand it at all please help me. 

When a Coolie A lifts a load on the roof of a bus in 1 minute and another Coolie B lifts the same load on the roof of the bus in 2 minutes. How can their work done been same? I need explanation and with formula .thanks

Coolie A done work in 1 minute

coolie B done work in 2 minute.

The work done is the same because they do not have taken distance as the formulae of the work is  W= Fdcosθ

and in this distance is same so work will be same.............

Hello there. I can understand this one that the distance is same. But I cannot understand this that when Coolie A has taken less time then he must have applied greater force than Coolie B who took more time. In that case force of coolie A is greater than of coolie B. Then how the work is same in both cases since W=F×S and F is not same in both cases .

Dear in this weight lifted through a height   and in this way angle between force and displacement is same so thats why its the same.
