   Dave is riding on a straight path. After 5 s, his speed is 3.0 m/s. After 7 s, his speed is 5.0 m/s. After 10 s, his speed is 7.0 m/s. What was his acceleration from 5 s to 10 s?

acceleration from 5 s to 10 s

at 5s , velocity is 3.0m / s^2

at 10s , velocity is 7.0m / s^2

change in velocity = 7 - 3 = 4 m / s^2

time taken = 10 -5 = 5 sec


acceleration =  change in velocity / time taken

                     =   4 / 5

                    = 0.8 m/s^2....................................................ANSWER
