The primary purpose of the Executive Program Practical Connection is to equip
people with general management and leadership skills that they will need in their careers and
professions. The program can equip the students with skills, knowledge, and theories that
they will use in their workplaces and one’s field of study practically. Some of the skills that
are provided by the program are the leadership skills (Hunt, 1991). The leadership skills, in
this case, include the ability of one to manage changes. This consists of any change that
occurs in all the departments and also in the field of study. It also teaches team collaboration
between the persons one is expected to work with for a given task. For good leadership skills,
one is also supposed to have very high learning agility, good communication, and excellent
judgment (Mumford, 2000).
