Dear Students for assessment 2 you are required to do the following:

Prepare a final report for submission to the family (as your client). The report needs to include:

1. an overview of the scenario (or brief);

2. the criteria and assumptions used to prepare the milestone plan and task list (WBS);

3. a milestone plan (as an appendix);

4. a list of the tasks (as an appendix) and who is responsible for each task;

5. a Gantt chart (as an appendix) indicating the flow of tasks;

6. details of all adjustments made to the schedule, and why you made these adjustments

7. a personal reflection on the process.

Your webinars and in class sessions have included discussion on these so please ensure you listen to the recordings and you also find visuals for each of the requirements. To assist :

A project milestone is a task of zero duration that shows all important achievements in a project. The milestones should represent a clear sequence of events that incrementally build up until your project is complete. They have zero duration because they symbolize an achievement or goal or a point of time in a project. Here is a basic version and easily developed in word. You are required to include this in your assessment development.

You can include a decision tree if you like however this is not a specific item for the assessment. If you are not able to develop gaant charts etc electronically they can be done manually . Microsoft project is one of the easiest to use and there are many other open source tools that are easy to use. I hope this helps .

Hi Everyone - here is the link to this week's recording. I have also gone over Assessment #2 requirements at the beginning of the session.
