Make your second level 1 heading “What-If Analysis/Safety Checklist.”                    Using any or all of the Appendices A, B, and C, include the what-if                analysis/safety checklist technique described in the Unit IV    Lesson to             evaluate the six paragraph statements on page 28 of the    “Technical   Analysis”                section of the report. Simply number    each posed   question that you   form.     You     must have at least 20 posed    questions.   If you can develop   more than     20, please     do so. This    will only   enhance the quality of the   process   safety     analysis. Make your third level 1 heading “Potential Controls.” Being careful to                follow the hierarchy of controls described in the unit lesson, propose    a             control for each of the 20 identified hazards that you    recognized   from   each         posed question. Attempt to cite as many    controls as   possible,   even using         textbooks from previous safety or    environmental   classes   that you may have         already taken from    CSU. What if the power supply is disrupted to the data-logging computers? 14. What if the data-logging computers do not operate as intended? 15. What if the pump motor is activated by accident? 16. What if the discharge pressure is not within the transfer system’s engineered tolerances? 17. What if the nitrous oxide temperature is not within the transfer system’s engineered tolerances? 18. What if the emergency relief valves on the facility’s bulk tanks fail? 19. What if the commodity transfer pump activates? 20. What if the control monitoring equipment is not within calibration? ******* 3. Make your third level 1 heading “Potential Controls.”  Being careful to follow the hierarchy of controls described in the unit lesson, propose a control for each of the 20 identified hazards that you recognized from each posed question.  Attempt to cite as many controls as possible, even using textbooks from previous safety or environmental classes that you may have already taken from CSU. (NOTE:  The assignment gives you the three APA first level headers to organize your paper -- Use Them.  BUT add a fourth heading:  Conclusion.  You cannot just leave the paper without a proper conclusion.) 5.
