Most calculators can find logarithms with base '10' and base 'e'. To find logarithms with different bases, we use the "Change of base formula".
To find log23 ( i.e log3 to the base 2) we write ln3 / ln2 = 1.584962501
(.e log3 to the base e / log2 to the base e )
This is the formula i used. x=3 , b=2 and d = e ( you can choose d=10 also)
