Math is not an aspect of humanities.
Music, by definition, is NOT words, it consists of sound waves, so writing music has to do with putting those sound waves together (specific notes). You do not need words to have ideas. Art also involves pictures, photographs, lithographs, etc. Ideas come from what the pictures/photographs mean to us, not necessarily from the picture/photograph itself. Words are not required for ideas.
For example, some inventions start out as drawings on paper with measurements laid out for each line. The idea for the invention starts as a picture in someone's mind, which is then put on paper. The words have to do with the function/engineering/design of the invention, not necessarily the invention itself.
