Cultural heritage is the expression of people’s living developed by a community and is
passed on from one generation to the next. Cultural heritage includes customs, object, values and
artistic expressions. It can also be expressed as the legacy of physical artifacts and intangible
attributes of a societal group that are being inherited by the current generation from the past
generation whereby they maintain and bestow them for future generations (Szczepanowska,
2013).
In my case, my family’s race is African American which is mostly referred to like blacks.
MY ethnicity originates from Ghana through Europe and lastly to America. I’m of male sex
which is identified as a man by my ethnic community. I’m a heterosexual male and an educated
military veteran working in the finance industry. My economic status is of the middle-class level
out of the five social classes. I'm a disabled Army veteran. I'm 38 year's old, and I believe in God
which makes me a Christian.
In my whole life, I have been interacting with people from culturally diverse
backgrounds. This made most of the messages that I received from other people to be quite
different. In my high school, I schooled with the whites, Asians, Hispanics, and Blacks. I
remember when I was in elementary school there was a classmate who asked me what I feel that
